Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
In short: this website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. We only receive personal information that you choose to send us, and we only use it to reply to you and, if you hire us, to deliver your project.
1. Who we are
Velqora is a web design and development business based in Ireland. We are the “controller” of the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

- Phone and WhatsApp: +353 89 948 0472
- Postal address: available on request by email
2. What we collect and why
We follow the principle of data minimisation: we only ask for what we need.
| What | Why | Legal basis (GDPR) | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enquiries: your name, email address or phone number, and whatever you write in your message | To reply to you and give you a quote | Steps you ask us to take before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) | Up to 12 months after our last contact if you don't go ahead with a project |
| Client projects: contact details, billing details, and content you give us for your website | To deliver the project, invoice you and provide support | Performance of our contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) | For the project and any support period |
| Financial records: invoices and payment records | To meet Irish tax and accounting rules | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) | 6 years, as required by Irish Revenue rules |
| Technical server logs: IP address, browser type, page requested and time | Kept by our web host to run the site securely and prevent abuse | Legitimate interests in security (Art. 6(1)(f)) | As set by our hosting provider, usually a short period |
The enquiry form
The form on our home page does not send or store anything on this website. When you press the button, it opens your own email app with your message filled in. You choose whether to send it. Only the details you send by email reach us.

- We don't sell or rent your personal data.
- We don't send marketing messages unless you've asked us to.
- We don't use automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who we share it with
We only share personal data where needed, with:

- Providers you ask us to set up for your project, such as domain or hosting companies.
4. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers, such as Google and Meta, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission:
- Website: www.dataprotection.ie (opens in a new tab)
- Address: Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland
7. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
8. Security
We protect your data with secured, password-protected accounts and two-step verification where available, and we only keep what we need for as long as we need it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
